The Vision Behind Ara Bee Collective
Wedding and special occasion hair and makeup have been my passion for over 17 years. I love creating timeless looks that help each client feel confident, beautiful, and authentically themselves. My approach draws from both Eastern and Western beauty traditions, and I’m proud to lead a talented team skilled in working with all hair types, textures, and skin tones.
Every wedding is unique, and I’m committed to making sure each client feels seen, celebrated, and cared for on their big day.
We use a variety of high-quality, clean products that deliver the best results including Aveda hair products, Jane Iredale makeup, Tower 28 Beauty, and Temptu airbrush makeup.

Laura’s San Diego Wedding Day Minimums
A $600 minimum in wedding day hair and/or makeup services is required for weddings personally serviced by Laura. If the selected services do not meet the minimum, the difference will be added to the final service total.
Step 1
Submit our online contact form or email us directly to confirm availability for your wedding date.
Step 2
We will confirm our availability for your wedding day.
Step 3
We’ll begin with an initial Google Meet consultation to answer your questions, get to know your vision, and walk you through the next steps. If we both feel comfortable and confident moving forward, we’ll continue with the booking process.
Step 4
To finalize your reservation, you will receive our Hair and Makeup Service Contract along with a link to submit your initial deposit. Both the signed contract and the initial deposit must be received within 5 days of receipt.
Step 5
Once your wedding date is secured, we’ll invite you to share your hair and makeup inspiration photos, along with your color palette, flower colors, and overall wedding aesthetic to help us create a look tailored specifically to you.
We recommend scheduling your Hair & Makeup Preview 1–4 months before your wedding day. Please note we are unable to schedule your preview until inspiration photos have been received. To keep everything organized, we’ve also created a customizable Hair & Makeup Inspiration Template for you and your wedding party to easily share photos in one place.
