Hi! I'm Laura,a professional hairstylist and makeup artist with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2009 and have built a career grounded in creativity, lifelong learning, and a genuine passion for helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

In 2020, I launched LauraBBeauty LLC to bring greater diversity and representation to the Minnesota wedding industry. In 2025, the business officially became Ara Bee Collective, continuing our mission of inclusive beauty. As a half-Korean American adoptee and a multicultural person, I specialize in weddings for all hair textures and skin tones, leading a talented team that shares this vision.

When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, sipping craft coffee, caring for my plant collection, and creating art.

I'm Sean! I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2015 and after five years working behind the chair, I made the decision to focus solely on bridal/event hair and makeup artistry.

I love getting to work with people of all different backgrounds, and help people of all genders, hair textures, and skin tones feel beautiful. My favorite hairstyles to do are romantic tossled updos, especially when there's a braid involved.

Outside of my work, I'm also an up and coming indie pop artist and spend a lot of time writing and performing songs.

Hi! I’m Alyssa. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2021 and now focus on bridal and event makeup. I’ve loved makeup for as long as I can remember. In high school, I was the go-to friend for dances, cheer competitions, and Halloween looks.

As a Korean adoptee growing up in South Dakota, I spent hours watching Asian beauty creators on YouTube. Seeing women with features like mine showed me that makeup is for everyone and inspired me to pursue my passion with the hope of giving others that same confidence.

I have the most fun creating bold, unique looks using bright colors and different textures to express my creativity and love for art. When I’m not doing makeup, I’m serving or bartending—and spending time with my two children Pepper and Louie, who are cats.

Hi, I’m Yasmin. I have been doing updos since I was 16. Styling hair makes me feel like an artist and hair is my tool I get to create with. But it wasn’t until I was 35 that I decided to make a career change, and graduated from MN School of Cosmetology in Dec 2017.
 

My favorite style is when the updo has some sort of braid incorporated in it…. and curls, lots of curls. 

I’ve had the honor of doing hair at NY Fashion Week & Paris Fashion Week. I feel beyond blessed to be a small apart of making someone’s dream or special day come to reality.

I’m endlessly passionate about creating immersive, high-impact brand experiences that not only look great, but are unforgettable. With experience in event planning, project management, client services, and sales, I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can build genuine relationships and turn ambitious ideas into reality.

I grew up in a Jewish Brazilian American home, and that vibrant blend of cultures shows up in everything I do, my creativity, my warmth, my hospitality, and the joy I bring to every project. Whether it’s through music, food, tradition, or energy, my multicultural background shapes the way I connect with people and the care I bring to supporting our team and clients.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me hanging out with my dog, Ernie, and my cat, Pinto; tending to my (slightly dramatic) collection of plants; crafting something colorful; or spending time with friends and family.
