The Vision Behind Ara Bee Collective
Wedding and special occasion hair and makeup have been my passion for over 17 years. I love creating timeless looks that help each client feel confident, beautiful, and authentically themselves. My approach draws from both Eastern and Western beauty traditions, and I’m proud to lead a talented team skilled in working with all hair types, textures, and skin tones.
Every wedding is unique, and I’m committed to making sure each client feels seen, celebrated, and cared for on their big day.
We use a variety of high-quality, clean products that deliver the best results including Aveda hair products, Jane Iredale makeup, Tower 28 Beauty, and Temptu airbrush makeup.

Second Venue Fee

Early Start Fee
$55 per artist when an artist is required to travel or arrive by 7:30 AM or earlier.
Additional Artists

$55 flat fee for 1 or more artists. This will be determined based on your time frame and your service total. (For more than 8 services we will need 3 artists).

Last Minute Booking Fee
$100. This fee will apply to bookings confirmed 60 days or less before your wedding day
Service Minimums
Laura
A minimum of $550 in wedding day services is required for weddings personally serviced by Laura. If the selected services do not meet the minimum, the difference will be added to the Client’s final invoice.
Ara Bee Collective Team
A minimum of $400 in wedding day services is required for weddings led and serviced by the Ara Bee Collective Team without Laura. If the selected services do not meet the minimum, the difference will be added to the Client’s final invoice as a service minimum fee.
Travel Fees
Caulated based on the round-trip distance from Minneapolis per artist. Any parking, or applicable travel expenses will be included in your final total. Parking may also be included in your final total.

(Pricing does not reflect an 18% gratuity added on for parties of 4 or more services)
Step 1
Please review our FAQs, then submit our online contact form or email us directly to check availability for your wedding date.
Step 2
We will confirm our availability for your wedding day.
Step 3
We’ll begin with an initial Google Meet consultation to answer your questions, get to know your vision, and walk you through the next steps. If we both feel comfortable and confident moving forward, we’ll continue with the booking process.
Step 4
To officially reserve your wedding date, you will receive our Hair and Makeup Service Contract along with an invoice to submit your initial deposit. Both the signed contract and initial deposit must be received within 5 days of receipt in order to secure your date.
Step 5
Once your wedding date is secured, we’ll send you our Hair & Makeup Inspiration Template to complete. You’ll share your inspiration photos, color palette, floral colors, and overall wedding aesthetic so we can get a feel for your vision.
We recommend scheduling your Hair & Makeup Preview 1–4 months before your wedding day. Your preview appointment can be scheduled once your completed inspiration template has been received.
